This summers theme for me has to patience. To be more specific, it’s about learning patience through the process of life changes, business growth, kids, getting older, and my recent separation from my husband of 9 years. This summer I have entered into an entirely new world that requires a stronger, more focused, and definitely more patient me…. especially with ME!
The best way I’ve found to snap back into a space of hope and peace when fear and sadness try to takeover is to take a moment each day and write down a minimum of 5 things that I am grateful for on that specific day. They can be as small as being able to fit a pair of pants or as big as being able to pay for roof over my head without my husband’s income.
I want to encourage all of you reading this to incorporate this exercise of keeping a gratitude journal and making this a daily practice in your life. It’s hard to stay sad while counting your blessings. And even if it is the ability to read this blog or take your next breath, there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for.
Xoxo,
Chaun
P.S. Please post here on the site how your gratitude journaling goes once you start. Let's share, connect, and support one another.
